Privacy policy.

What information we process, what we don't, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: November 2026

In short, no fine print.

Your keys are yours

Chironte has no access to your keys and cannot move your funds.

No documents for the wallet

Creating and using the wallet doesn't require personal documents.

Identity only for the card

Verification is requested only if you activate the card or local-currency services.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell or share your information for advertising purposes.

1. Scope

This policy describes how Chironte handles the information of people who use its website and app. Chironte is a self-custody wallet: control of the funds and keys belongs exclusively to each user.

Some complementary services, such as the card or local-currency transactions, are provided together with authorized entities and are subject to availability by country. Where applicable, those entities also apply their own privacy policies, which are disclosed before you activate the service.

2. Information we don't collect

Due to the wallet's design, Chironte has no access to and does not store:

  • Your account's private keys.
  • Your Google account password.
  • Your biometric data: your fingerprint or face is validated on your own device and never leaves it.

3. Information we process by service

To sign up and sign in we use your email address and your Google account identifier. We also process your wallet's public address, which is needed to show you your balance and activity.

Transactions made on a public blockchain are recorded on that network and can be viewed by anyone. Chironte cannot modify or delete them.

If you decide to activate the Card and local-currency services, the information required by applicable regulations in your country will be requested, such as identity document, contact details and address, and transactions made with the card will be recorded.

If you contact Support by email or chat, we process the information you send us in order to answer your request.

4. How we use the information

  • Provide, maintain and improve the services.
  • Protect your account and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Communicate with you about your account and answer your requests.

We don't use your information for purposes other than those disclosed without your prior consent.

5. Providers and third parties

To operate, Chironte works with providers that act under confidentiality agreements and only with the information needed for each function:

  • Privy, for sign-up and sign-in.
  • Infrastructure providers to connect the app to the blockchain network.
  • Card issuers and payment processors, only if you activate the card.
  • Hosting and technical analytics services.

We may share information with competent authorities only when required by law.

6. Technical information

We collect technical data such as device model, operating system version and error logs to keep the app stable and secure. This data is processed in aggregated or pseudonymized form.

7. Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure in aggregate how it is used: pages visited, visit duration, device type and approximate country. We don't use it for advertising or to identify you personally.

Analytics cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice. Until then, and if you decline, they stay disabled. They can last up to 2 years.

We store your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. You can change it at any time by clearing this site's cookies and data in your browser settings: the notice will appear again on your next visit.

Declining cookies doesn't affect your use of the website, the app or your wallet.

8. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep information only for as long as needed for the disclosed purposes or for the period required by applicable regulations.

9. Your rights

Depending on the regulations in your country, you can request access, rectification, update, deletion or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. To do so, write to us at privacy@chironte.com.

Information recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by its very nature. You may also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

10. Minors

Chironte's services are intended for people aged 18 or over, or the age of majority applicable in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know through the app or by email before they take effect.

12. Contact

For questions about this policy or your data, write to us at privacy@chironte.com. If you notice suspicious activity on your account, use Report fraud.
